PBS has a Larger Primetime Audience than Many Commercial Channels

PBS' primetime audience is significantly larger than many commercial channels, including Bravo (PBS' audience is 92 percent larger), TLC (86 percent), Discovery Channel (69 percent), HGTV (63 percent), HBO (61 percent) and A&E (29 percent). In addition, PBS' primetime rating for news and public affairs programming is 88 percent higher than that of CNN.
