PBS has a Larger Primetime Audience than Many Commercial Channels

PBS' primetime audience is significantly larger than many commercial channels, including Bravo (PBS' audience is 127 percent larger), A&E (121 percent), TLC (114 percent), HBO (88 percent), HGTV (59 percent), and Discovery Channel (55 percent). In addition, PBS' primetime rating for news and public affairs programming is 108% percent higher than CNN's primetime audience.
