PBS has a Larger Primetime Audience than Many Commercial Channels

PBS' primetime audience is significantly larger than many commercial channels, including Bravo (PBS' audience is 127 percent larger), A&E (123 percent), TLC (116 percent), HBO (105 percent), HGTV (63 percent), and Discovery Channel (55 percent). In addition, PBS' primetime rating for news and public affairs programming is 127 percent higher than CNN's primetime audience.
